I miss the old days when games started at 7:30.

The later the better. There is NOTHING like a big night game in Death Valley.
See:
1970 Ole Miss
1971 Notre Dame, Florida
1972 Auburn
1974 Colorado
1977 Florida
1979 USC (#1)
1982 Florida State
1983 Washington
1986 Texas A&M, Notre Dame
1988 Texas A&M, Auburn
1990 Texas A&M
1995 Auburn
1997 Florida
2000 Tennessee, Alabama, MSU
2001 Auburn, Arkansas
2003 Auburn
2005 Auburn, Florida
2007 Va.Tech, Auburn, Florida, Arkansas
2008 Alabama
2009 Florida
2012 Alabama (#2 right behind '79 USC)

There have been some great loud day games also:
1969 Auburn
1987 Ohio State
2003 Georgia, Arkansas
2010 Alabama
2011 Auburn, Florida, Arkansas

Which do you find is more electric in Tiger Stadium, the 2:30 kickoff when Borne does the beginning of the fourth quarter speech or one where it starts at night
Are you really serious?

I'm an LSU Vampire. I only come out at night to stalk my prey. Sunlight turns me into a pile of dust so I am forbidden to attend a day game in Tiger Stadium.

90% of LSU fans/alums are probably the same.

Of course, you've got that 10% of buttock smoochers and DGD's (Day Game Defenders) that could care less and are just there for the party regardless of what time the game is played.

Nothing better than Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium, but I don't mind the 2:30PM starts. Just as long as they are in late October, November so you're not sweating your butt off.

When you live 3 hours away and drive home after the games, the 2:30 kickoff has some advantages.

IDGAF about you and your drive. This is bigger than you.

2:30 on the road for sure. Every stadium is a bit louder at night.

I like A 2:30 game. Get out there bout 11 ish. Drink a few suds and get to the game. And by the time the game is over I can still get home and watch a primetime game that is usually pretty good. The prob with a night game is that you still have to show up WAY WAY earlier than you may want. EVEN though I have a great tailgate spot, Its a LONG day.

Record proves were better at night. More alcohol in the system stadium is electric.

And THIS helps the team how?????????????? A bunch of drunk people screaming at what they have NO IDEA??????????????

Back in the 70's the night games were great. TODAY??????????????? Most people leave early anyway. Sounds like YOU just want to PARTY.............

It really is like hearing from a different species. I can't even conceive of this.

I tailgate for 10-12 hrs. Day games are the bane of my existence.

But to each his own.

Dikkie Vag is is an internet badass and IRL pussy. He has sand in his vagina and sounds like a boring, grouchy poser.

IDGAF about any other game on game day than my tigers. I don't have "a couple of suds" before the game... I have them all.

How do loud, beligerent fans help the team? Seriously?

Interesting topic given how we have grown as a program over the last decade. I remember when I went to LSU and subsequently lived in BR for a few years all the talk was that if we played in the daytime at TS we were bound to lose. Of course, that probably had more to due with Archer, Hallman and DiNardo.

you tailgate at home? cause that scenario was when you are at home, which you clearly said in your fist post in this thread
