John Brady less than two seasons after a final four or Gene Chizik less than two seasons after a national championship?

Both men deserved more time.

I'd say Brady. Only because he would've had us deep in the tourney in 2009 as well.

Both deserved to be fired. I don't know what you are talking about at all.

I would have to say Chizik because only one losing season in 4 years, My how the times have changed. Wow we kept Hallman for 4 years of losing seasons and Archer and Dinardo for 2 years of losing seasons. I guess Jacobs thought that ole Auburn was getting too far behing Bama.

If Brady was the coach now he would still be crying about the probation

Brady did a more admirable job coming out of probation. Chizik is going out by possibly putting his program on probation. Both firings were just but Chizik's is more just.

Brady had some other issues that began with LSU's Auditors. He had a money grab problem with the LSU basketball camps he used to run out the PMAC that got him into some trouble with the President at the time.

Brady should never be in this conversation. He deserved to GTFO.

This. Chizik lead Auburn to their most losses in a single season since 1950.

Brady is the clear answer here.

What has Brady done since he left LSU? Not much more to say about that. Don't care about Chiz. I wish he would stay.

Guess I am still convinced that Cam Newton attended Auburn in violation of NCAA rules, but even the NCAA does not abide by its own rules. SMU gets death, but Pens State...well that is a horse of a different color. Chizek was used, pure and simple.
