Are you putting JJ and JL in that class?
WAY over your head. I am putting Mettenberger in that class. Even he struggled with this offense.

He can't help himself. His hate poors out without him even thinking about it. That's how they are.
Yes it does. He labels me a JJ fanboy just because I have eyes and can see that JLee also was inconsistent. The guy is a douche. He pulls for the name on the back of the jersey. If a poster ever says anything negative about JLee or anything good about JJ , he labels them JJ fan boys. I guess it's horrible for me to actually cheer for a qb( JJ) whom has put more into LSU football on a Wednesday in oct, than TIGERLEE ever will.

You are your own worst enemy though. You started the whole "I am a fan of J. Lee but..." schtick.
Neither developed to the point they could lead a team exclusively. The problem was how the coaching staff tried to make one of them the exclusive QB. It wasn't his fault.

They both showed promise, but were raw from start to finish. Each had their moment. Just needed some quality training, and never got it.
JJ was dense and JL was chicken. You can't train those away.

ok I'm late to this conversation...But JL has bee playing golf A LOT the past two or three months. How do I know you ask? Well, he has played quite a few times at my course and I'll just leave it at that!

It's the offense, period. Even the most talented struggle.
Mett looked fairly good this year. He looked waaaay better than those two last year. The most talented struggle in every offense. If LSU ran a spread Mett would have lots more TDs and yards, but we'd have more turnovers and losses, too.

I see more than a few LSU fans can't let go
And as far as Lee dude is living on ranch in Texas working out hoping to get some invites to camps now. Not sure what he is doing in terms of work however

They both sucked 90% of the time in their careers. We won in spite of QB play and not because of it.
You dont become the SEC passing leader, the ESPN All-SEC Sr QB, have the 2nd longest streak in LSU history between interceptions, and go undefeated while beating the #3, #25, #16, #17, and #19 teams in the nation if you suck 90% of the time.
Against ranked teams over their careers, Lee was 8-3 (73%), while JJ was 8-6 (57%). And Lee's only losses were in his RS Fr year with Malveto!
Since his 1st, we won several games because of Lee at QB ('10 Fla, '10 TN, all of '11). We did win many games in spite of JJs play. Unfortunately there were too many games we couldnt overcome his play ('09 Fla, '09 Ole Miss, '10 Aub, '10 Ark, '12 BCS).

The facts.
Ahhhhh, the facts.
Jarrett lee played for the name on the front not the back rickdaddy.
I'm certain of it.

You are giving me ESPN stats?
No wonder you were wrong.
Try the official ones---NCAA.
ZM wasn't struggling at the end of the year with the offense unless you call 300 yards passing against Alabama struggling.
Guess that went WAY over your head.

Keep in mind folks this doesn't mean ALL-SEC it means the best Sr. QB in the SEC so it was either Lee or Stephen Garcia. Clearly a feat only accomplished by a special talent.

Passing leader? Are you fricking kidding me.
The LSU passing offense was in triple digits nationally and close to 10th in the SEC when Lee loss the starters job.
We didn't win any games in 2011 because of either QB.
Come on, they both sucked a lot more than they were good.

Did you throw up in your mouth?
Seems to me only obsessed people is you former team sweep members.
I mean I didn't start this thread, someone else did.
Lots of leftover butthurt, that's apparent.
