I think he goes number one. The league still believes in drafting the best player available. He would be the best player available at number one. Also, he's going to be a cash cow for quite a long time for whatever team drafts him. He will go first next year. He's more than just another running back.

actually this is a great move.

The thrived when they had Demarco Murray going off, and they really have a much bigger need at RB. Give Romo one more chance and take a once in a generation player, thats also a big time name?

If Elliot is worth at top 5 pick, Fournette available....unlikely that the Browns trade happens he goes at 2.

No way in hell Dallas would let him get past 4th.

LF would be an easy #1 on the big board.

Would he still be #1 is Jaylon Smith wasn't coming off injury? Would be a close one IMO.

I really hope the Cowboys suck again and they take Fournette. Never liked that team, but Fournette behind that line????

Look at Demarco Murray his year behind that line then the very next year with the Eagles. Hell, look at what McFadden did in 2015? His second best season and only second 1000 yard season in his 8 year career. He had the 3rd highest ypc average of any 1000 yard rusher and he had damn near 1100 rushing yards in only 10 starts. And that was on a team that couldn't pass worth a fart after Romo went down.

Fournette would kill it year one in Dallas.

ETA: If they are putting overrated Elliott in the top 6-7, Fournette should go no lower than 5th

Yes. Jaylon is a 4-3 OLB those guys arent season changers. Backs like Leonard are. It would be like Adrian Peterson vs Lavonte David

I'll get crucified for this but Fournette is overrated. His vision is not very good and he won't be able to run over NFL LBers like he does in college. He'll get drafted in the late 1st/early 2nd next year and probably have a meh career.

I would guess around pick 45 to be honest.
