Been to two different bars where LSU alumni supposedly watch games--but never saw any LSU fans. Anyone familiar with Dallas know the best place to watch the game and run into some LSU folks? Cheers!

Dodie's Reef on Greenville Avenue.

You can even go taunt the Florida fans after the win across the street at Stan's Blue Note

All other area watch centers are LAME!

try contacting the local alumni association chapter...they can tell you what is happening on any given weekend...

I'd like to know as well. Just moved here to go to Chiropractic school at Parker University and personally didn't bring a TV so I would study more. I make time for LSU football though, been pretty much bar hopping g but haven't seen much purple and gold.

I was at the Go For It sports bar in lake highlands for lunch yesterday and they had a huge sign that said "LSU watching party headquarters". It was a cool dive bar

Rotolo's isn't that crowded and a good place to watch, very laid back and good drink specials. Dodies and Sherlocks in Dallas are the best two places tow watch. After the games there are a lot of places to go out and celebrate after a win.

Best of luck in school.

YES

So many transplants here people have watch parties at thier house. Every restaurant/bar watch party I've been to here has been lame.

I've been in the Dallas area for going on 16 years. We used to have one location where everyone met and it was electric. Now that the watch parties have been spread around, I don't know if it is as good. The alumni link here will provide all the locations.

Right on--thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably head to Dodie's Reef (I'm guessing that's the one people were talking about and not the other Dodie's a mile down on Greenville). Cheers!

Yeah I agree with above. Dfw is very spread out so you have tons of pockets of bars

Now with home theater set ups, most people just host including me. Low of 57 tomorrow night, grill will be going and outdoor tv
