If you're old: Shoal Creek Saloon
If you're young: Lavaca Street Bar

Try this link out:
Austin viewing locations
I've been to Shoal Creek, Lavaca, and Midway Field House.
Shoal Creek will feel the most like home and will probably be the most crowded. Food is good, if a bit bland. Also, no large TVs.
Lavaca isn't very big either, but they have some great food inside courtesy of Surf and Turf. Has a pretty large screen in the back.
Went to Midway for the Wisconsin game. Service was pretty lousy. If you want to eat there, be prepared to wait an hour and half for it to get to the table. Upside... they have a huge screen and it's not crowded. At least that was our experience, but that was the first game of the year.
Hope this helps.

Lavaca st bar is one of my favorites and I am 37. Plus if you want to stay downtown this is the spot . You won't have to deal with the Texas fans coming in and trolling you either Bc they play at OSU. LSU has their own spot in the back .. midway field house off riverside dr. Is pretty good as well
Shoal Creek on Lamar was meh the last few times.. But unlike the other places it's ALL LSU.. they have a great crowd for Saints games
