I keep hearing Drake Davis will start. Drake Davis is great. Drake Davis is a beast. Drake Davis plays a hundred sports so he must be a freak. Etc. etc.

Pretty sure most of our WRs are really great athletes, but the rant can't stop bringing Drake Davis up. We haven't even seen him on the field for us! I just don't understand what the obsession is for this guy, he's not even on the depth chart as an XYZ yet. Maybe there's a reason?

Is there some kind of Drake Davis website I haven't heard about? Link please???

He's a great athlete with suspect hands. Until he gets that straightened out, his only plays will be jet sweeps and the like.

Everybody who was highly touted in high school but hasn't played is graded "beast" status.

He's probably the best athlete on the team.

His ceiling is higher than any other WR. That doesn't mean he will be a great WR, but looking at his raw abilities, its easy to see why people are pumped about his potential.

He is a very good soccer player, could've played college basketball, has a great vertical, great height and size, and great speed.

Just needs to learn the position. I don't think Craig was a great WR teacher, I'm hoping we get someone in that can teach him the fundamentals well and how to high point the ball.

Do you not follow recruiting? He is really raw right now. He can jump through the roof and has really good speed, but he took multiple years off to play soccer...a sport in which you can't us your hands. He will come along.

I hope this footwork will help him in his football career. Definitely can't hurt.

That's just freakish. He hasn't been a WR long, will take him a couple of years.

I do follow recruiting but I usually only look at defensive guys. I don't know a lot about offense.

Didn't know he was new to WR! I thought he had played it for awhile at the same time as the other sports. Makes a lot of sense now.

We do hear about a lot of athletic but raw players though, do you think he still can develop and contribute for us or is he behind?

Davis is the truth. He's basically this year's version of OBJ and quite possibly better. College play speaking

Watch the end of the Jacksonville state game when McMillan came in. You can see Davis has tremendous potential. He looked very athletic out there

I've read a few people on here who said he wasn't even a college level soccer player, but maybe they were just bitter.

Freakish athlete with NFL potential.

But will he work hard and develop his craft?

That's the million $ question.
