No disrespect to golf but when will we get over the hump and put up a respectable performance and maybe even win on a big stage again?

I'm looking at Ben Simmons and basketball

Winning a national collegiate championship in one of the men's major sports is a once in a lifetime kind of thing for most fans in the country. How many have we had over the last 25 years?

Miles
Jones
Mainieri

I really don't think you could pick a better trifecta when it comes to mid-game coaching.

That's what makes it tough. We remember big wins but we're still good enough to be tantalizingly close again, but just can't perform on the big stage.

Be happy with relevance I guess

When we get an AD who's not satisfied to just compete.

Yeah it's been an awful year for the athletic department.

Most schools this would be a record once in a century type of year

Alleva has made it plain that he doesn't necessarily expect his coaches to win championships.

Some of you guys will never be pleased. This was a great year athletically in both men's and women's. This National Championships or bust scenario is just plan selfish and ignorant. It also shows that most of y'all have never competed in anything athletically. I want to win every game at every sport LSU plays but that's just a tough thing to do. Bama, Fla, Fla State ,USC, UCLA, Texas, Ohio State, etc all theses athletic departments would love to have the year LSU has had as a whole. To contradict myself I don't care for Alleva and believe he is coat tailing a great University with a second to none fan base.
