When Was the Last Time We Started Outside the Top 10?

In 2003, we started ranked #16. Have we begun a season ranked outside the top 10 since then? I don't think so. Of course, 2003 ended up quite nicely and we'll have every shot to move up with games against Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Ole Miss, so I'm not worried about our ranking.

if a team is not totally dominate then rankings is very overrated. Look at 2008 LSU and Bama, they were suppose to be average and we were suppose to be great but look how that turned out. When the season is over LSU will be a top ten team and thats all matters
