that fan is told to stfu unless they've played or coached at a high level because they're not qualified or close enough to the situation to speak on such things.

When former players and coaches come out and speak about/against certain things they're labeled LSU haters and all of a sudden their opinion doesn't matter. There have been a lot of former players speaking their mind of late, who the hell else needs to come out and talk about these things before people accept it and start to admit there might be a problem?

People are stupid. LSU fans are really stupid. It's a sad truth but I have accepted it and so should you.

It's not about the message. It was the way they carried themselves. No professionalism.

Since you or anybody else slinging comments are so perfect, and you don't make mistakes, and you know how to do everything , the. I guess you are entitled. There is more than one way to do anything...... In sports and in life.... So STFU!

Some fans are just hypocrites. Nothing critical can be said about Miles but they will bash the 20 yr old players.

when we start losing 3-4 games regularly instead of being in the hunt for SEC championships and NCs on a yearly basis.....then i'll admit there's a problem.

Former players can be whiny bitches just like our fans and we all know there has never been an athlete publicly say or do something stupid.

The pile of recruits at the game Saturday sure sounded impressed with the staff. Unless that changes, there is no problem.

You know what we don't ever see from the complainers? A list of people that can do a better job than Miles. I'm not talking about a list of potentials either. I would just once like to see a list of realistic candidates that can 100% guaranteed come in and do a better job. Because if LSU misses on the hire we will become Tennessee.

A lot?
How many?
Who are they?
Prove your point with credible evidence.

The problem being LSU has a coach that wins 80% of his games?

Please.
You are tiresome and boring.

I agree with you. Coach Miles is the best LSU can do. This is as good as it gets for LSU.

LSU will never be on a Saban/Bama level, so, LSU should be happy, satisfied and silent.

We could be on an Ole Miss, Kentucky, or Vandy level. Bama's cart will crash one day. Don't worry.

Bottomline is this:

LSU fans need to accept Les Miles as he is. He is a great recruiter, great man, great role model and mentor, and loyal to LSU. He does make mistakes but he is the best coach LSU has ever had. He could have left us for his alma mater Michigan (TWICE) and he chose to stay here in Baton Rouge. I love the dude and hope he retires here.

Forgot about Auburn. I bet Auburn would stab a baby penguin to have Tommy right now. We bring in a new staff it means we are also going to lose steam in recruiting, at least temporarily. Our recruiting is rolling full steam ahead right now and it needs to stay that way if we want to sustain this success.

Retarded imo. We are a very young team. Mett showed what he can be, future is very bright. Bama is at their peak, we can also get there, we are very very close.

I don't think this is debatable except for a few (okay maybe a ton) of loons who will dispute this observation.

You confusing the average fan with the below average fan...the ones that only show up on the Rant when there is an opportunity to spew Miles hate. Otherwise you don't see them on the Rant.

So STFU...
