This is my annual event with my (soon-to-be) 66-year old dad. He loves coming to this tournament. We've been almost every year for about 12 years now.
I live in Atlanta and will leave after work Tuesday. Probably catch game 3 in about the 3rd or 4th inning.
We have stayed at the Microtel and Homewood but are living large at the Embassy this year.

I know this is probably asked every year at this time, but I'm gonna ask. If we're still in it Saturday or Sunday, how difficult is it to walk up and get a couple tix? And what kind of $ are we talking? If I'm able to get away then, thinking about taking my son to one. Thanks in advance.

I believe gen admin price is like $15 and No problem walking up and getting tickets. Ever.

Gen admission tickets are great if you get there a little early to get a good seat.
And - I'm leaving my house at 3:30pm on Wed to make the 15min drive to the stadium.

I may consider going but 5 hour drive and a flight out of BR on Sunday for work doesn't have me in the best position

Personally I recommend the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express. Acceptable rooms and free breakfasts.
