Friend of mine said it was a hamstring injury. One of those things if it feels better than yes. Not really a time table for it.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did. I hope he isn't out for long

I don't know, but I kind of wish putting numbers in athletes nicknames would stop, regardless of the source of it.

Doesn't sound good.

On another note, I saw Kwon Alexander at the game on Friday. He was walking around perfectly fine

Yeah, it doesn't. He looked good too. 13 pts. and 8 boards in 11 minutes and he looked to be in shape.

I cringed at his shot selection, but he was making more than not. I just wish he's realize 3's and fallaway 15 footers are not what we have him for.

Rosetta just tweeted that Kent says it's a strained calf, he didn't practice today and is officially listed as day-to-day.

Yeah it was rough to watch, but he looked comfortable and the shots went in so I won't complain too much.

They did go in but that has me even more worried. Makes me think he'll be even more inclined to jack. He's got some good moves down low, I wish he'd concentrate more on that.

One of my biggest issues with Trent was that he did not demand accountability for bad shot selection, specifically from JOB, Hickey, Stringer and White.

Well, the 3 of those who are back don't seem to have shied away much from those habits. I'll give CJJ more than one game to judge his handling of it though.

I hope he gets proper rest for it because honestly we'd be fine without him till Seton Hall at the end of the month. We play McNeese State, Northwestern State and Mississippi Valley State in the meantime.

McNeese State isn't really any good and their starting lineup goes 6'1, 6'2, 6'3, 6'5, 6'5...we could start Hickey, Carmouche, Morgan, Coleman or Hammink and Ludwig and be fine there

Northwestern State is a bit more dangerous/taller. But we should be able to beat them without O'Bryant.

Mississippi Valley State is just flat awful

I agree.

I think CJJ is rolling with the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality right now. It'll be interesting to see how CJJ handles adjustments on offense when we can''t get going. He did a damn good job adjusting defensively last Friday though

Not much off a fan of the OOC schedule. I'd like to see the team tested a bit more to prepare them for SEC play, but whatcha gonna do.

One thing that stood out to me that I liked was that I saw more ball fakes and shot fakes in one game Friday than I say in 10 under TJ.

For this team, and this season, I am fine with a weak OOC schedule. Next year however, is a completely different story.

IMHO 2 or 3 more decent OOC teams would do more good than harm. I don't see much benefit in playing several of the teams we've scheduled. I'd rather expose the weaknesses earlier rather than later.
