What's the plan for the cash

that old geezer in New Orleans left to LSU? Somewhere in the neighborhood of $25 million? HEre's what should be done: demolish the fieldhouse and build a giant multipurpose facility for women's gynmastics, volleyball, indoor tennis, and indoor track.

Here's an idea...how about set up some academic scholarships. Or did the guy specify he wants it to go to athletics?

How about we take care of some of the dilapidated buildings on campus?

How about investing it at a return of 5% a year, which will provide salaries for a handful of top-rank professors and fund full scholarships for quite a few students, year-in and year-out, in perpetuity.

seems to me a good bit of that money for the sewer system can be tied into the athletic department as support for tiger stadium, pmac, bernie moore track stadium, alex box, etc..........

this....it sure would help LSU's budget problems.
