We were already thin, and attrition so far:
Andy Dodd quits before his sr. season
Willie Allen transfers
K.J. Malone was going to quit, but was talked into returning
Seth Stewart decides not to play

What's going on with this unit?
Hope we sign 5 in this upcoming class and that nobody gets hurt this fall.
We are thin

Our O Line has been on par with our QB position lately

Seth Stewart should never been given a scholly to begin with so no real harm there. But yes Grimes has to recruit atleast 2 more true tackles in this 2018 class ... plus when Dare Rosenthal gets on campus they need to flip him to OT.

I caught mention of the KJ quitting thing just recently. What was the story there? Was he just wanting to leave LSU, or football all together?

Just leave football I think with KJ. He has graduated and wants to get into law enforcement. Nobody is projecting him into the NFL. Obviously LSU fans are happy he is coming back.

LSU OL has been a disaster under Grimes.

He must be a BBQ Buddy with O.

Can't think of one good reason why he was retained.

Time for a change there.

KM training wit da Bears in Chicago. Hopefully he takes over in 18 and gets this thing to where it needs to be..............

Well Dodd makes sense.

Career backup without position versatility.

He basically would have to hope Clapp to get hurt to see the field.

Is everyone in here trolling one another? Pro Football Focus had us as the best OLine over last season. And basically everyone has said the OLine is our best position group this season.

The starters are solid but the last few years the recruiting under Les has left no depth at tackle

They don't like Grimes. He was barely kept around during staff changes. But Coach O is giving him one year to prove himself.

I think it's a little better than "solid" lol

Best in the country (arguable) last season and one of our best strengths this season.

Not a fan of Grimes. Was surprised he was retained. I think we change coaches at that position after this year unless OL has great season.

The product on the field doesn't always show it, but our run blocking the past several years are hard to argue against statistically. Was watching a few replays of last year's teams and there were some games were our oline could not be stopped. Granted we're talking about the Texas A&Ms and Mizzous of the world.

Damn man...I want what you are smoking son. Just about every publication that does so ranked LSU's offensive line number one in the country last season.

Uhm...I don't think but know that you are a disaster son. A freaking disaster.

Nobody's saying that.
