if one of those wins is Bama in a significant fashion then you're probably right. If O wins 6+ games and beats Bama by 10 points or better this year then he will get the job and i would argue he flat out earned it.

I think he can lose 1 but probably has to beat bama.

BTW....I'm kinda rooting for him. I love the passion and I know he LOVES LSU.

I think he would have to win out go get serious consideration

Even losing 1 or 2 games is not good enough IMO.. great interim work.. but we need a coach who can beat Ole Miss, Arkansas, a@m, Florida, and Alabama. If he just loses 1 of those, I would rather another direction. I am very pleased with him taking over right now though.

Don't matter what he wins, LSU will stay far away from this cartoon character.

If he goes 7-1 and the loss is to Alabama, he will be replaced. If he goes 7-1 and one of the wins is against Alabama, Alleva will likely keep him, IMO. 8-0 guarantees he stays.
