Serious question. Does the baseball roster favor a run to Omaha this upcoming season?

Football? 2036.

All you posi-tigers are convinced a washed up d-line coach is the second coming of Saint Nick. It'd be nice, but it's my belief (sadly) that LSU football is on a downward trajectory. We're still running on the fumes of Miles' top-tier recruiting and some decent coordinators. Once the recruiting falls off and the coordinators get hired away, we'll be left with Yaw Yaw and whatever NCAA sanctions he manages to incur before collecting his $12 million buyout.

Hopefully, Eaux's demise will at least help hasten then end of Alleva's tenure. And then, maybe we can get a competent AD, hire an up and coming football coach, and get this thing back on track. All of that will take at least a decade. After that, we should get back to a NC game in the late 2020s and maybe win it by mid 2030s.

Seriously, no on paper. Too young on the field and no proven depth on the mound.

I thought y’all lost a good bit. Y’all may have a year like we did this past year with a lot of young talent and no experience. Watch out the year after though

It’s an entirely different starting rotation. And there’s a decent chance that 7 of the 9 positions on the field will be freshmen and sophs with the other possibility being a couple freshmen replaced with junior transfers. Exceptional talent though. The other factor about “next year” is that 3 main guys are eligible sophomores for the draft. 2 are likely gone.
