I think OBJ. He can get about 1,050 yards this year.

Agree.........so much for a WR having to be over 6 feet tall. I have even read where he could turn himself into a first round NFL pick with a good season or two!

77 receiving yards per game over a 13 game season will get any of our receivers there.

I think OBJr gets there, and Landry finishes with 600. Shep gets 350-450. Wright & Boone finish with close to 300 or so.

Yes, I think Mett finishes with <3K yards passing. Somewhere near 2500 if we do well.

I also think LSU will easily win every game on its schedule if this is correct.

I think Landry and Shepard have more yards than most people are thinking. Both are elusive after the catch and more physical than they get credit for. I'd say both finish with around 700. Wright and Boone in the 300-400 range.

We won't have a 1000 yard receiver because of our defense and special teams. It's hard to have a bunch of yards when you start damn near every series at your 45

The defense and special teams were pretty good last year and Randle was on pace to easily eclipse 1,000 yards before the switch. OBJ will be the deep threat this year and will be the most likely to eclipse the mark. Landry will catch the most balls though IMO.

With Les Miles as HC, it's hard to imagine one of our WRs getting a thousand.
RR didn't get that with JJ locked soley on him from the time they left the huddle...

The difference between them and Odell Beckham Jr is that we have seen ODB be elusive after the catch. The others are still just rant myths.

No one has ever actually seen Shepard with a football in his hands.
It could be a complete myth...

None, We will run it again this season.... 2 lucky WRs will get 700+ passing yards. LSU don't just aim on one individual on passing nor running... Won't get heisman trophy players off this team but may get Championship rings and fairly amount of playing time...

I gave Shep 3 years. I'm done listening to the pitch, much less wanting to be sold on him. He was Mr. Invisible for the most part even after he came back from the suspension.

The kid's been good for our program for the most part. But its safe to say while he may make a play every now and again, he's just not all that he was cracked up to be coming out of HS.

after OBJ, shep is still our most complete slot receiver. Landry will have the most yards per catch as the deep route receiver. After talking to OB Senior at the vols game last year for several hours while tailgating, I have reason to believe that landry will become the #1 option this season. It may take a few games, but as mett gets unleashed, landry will bcome the next michael clayton. That said, landry 800+, obj 650, and shep follows with 400 plus around 100 yards rushing from screen passes behind los.

I kinda feel bad for the kid... The transition to a new position took longer than most expected... But I'm 100% sure he would've been better if he would've had a decent qb throwing him the ball

False. If he would've gone to Oregon he would be a Heisman candidate. Horribly misused at LSU and at a time with less than spectacular QB play. I really feel sorry for him.

Never a Miles basher and considering our running corps, this rings true for me.

absolutely.
He would have been a monster in Oregon's spread, they'd be awesome this year with Shep and Thomas in the backfield.I think Jarvis is gonna go off this year.Either he or OBJ gets to 1,000
