How much do you have to even pay for something like that nowadays?

I literally have no idea

A hefty sum of money. For something similar to those four tickets, you'll likely have to spend about 4k with TAF included.

So a total of 4K?

That's high, but I thought it would be higher.

It might be. I only have two tickets on the east side so I was just extrapolating.

You would probably have to donate a few hundred thousand in order to get the priority level to get a chance at those tickets. Even then someone would have to give them up to be available.

You're spending a lot more than that for 40 yard line tickets. Ours is close to that on the aisle next to the gold seats and we've had them for 50+ years. Much harder to get back in once you've given them up, especially midfield tickets

I will never understand this. How do LSU fans find bama fans who will sell their trailer to buy tickets in the upper deck, but can't find a fricking home team fan who'll pay the same amount? It's shameful.

The only way to get tickets like that is to donate a shite ton of money and I mean like enough to get a purple Blazer and be on the sidelines for a game (100K). Your best bet is to find someone on the secondary market willing to sell on a yearly basis.

First off the price of the tickets plus TAF charge will be about $6000 for 4....next you'll have to donate enough to be high enough on the priority list to get available sideline seat....prolly 30K...then there have to be seats available...GOOD LUCK WITH THAT

i will give you a breakdown. first off you need thousands upon thousands already donated to have a nice priority point ranking if you want any hope of getting back in unless you can start dumping tens of thousands right now to play catchup. Do you have that?

Let's say you had tix in section 302 on the east sideline.

tradition fund donation PER SEAT is- 975 x 4 seats=3900

cost per seat is-425 x 4 seats= 1700

TOTAL= 5600 tickets

add 400 for a parking pass. my pass is 300 with a 100 tradition fund donation.

that would put you at 6k.

if you want section 303 it is a 1025 donation PER SEAT. Club seats and suites are the BIG MONEY

I am going off memory, but if I remember right, face value is about $500 per ticket and the "donation" to buy them is about $1000 per ticket. I am guessing you would have to donate $50K to get enough priority points to have a shot at tics in that area.

I got into a drunken argument with one of our longtime season ticket neighbors (sat in front of us) during a game a long, long time ago. It was about how LSU was working on a plan with the legislature to allow a non-profit to control more than 12% of the seats in a public entitiy. I told him they were gonna gouge us. It was going to be brutal and unfair as frick to all the oldies and blue collars that had been the backbone of Tiger Stadium.

He said it would never happen.

He's not there anymore. None of his family is there anymore. Today I think Capital One has the entire row in front of us.

It is what it is.

Knowing the economy and average salaries of the area, I'm not sure how people justify the economics of keeping their seats, generally speaking.
