What would it take for "Neck" to be unbanned for one game?

To all band members who roam this site, what kind of petition or urging would it take for you to play this? The stadium is going to be rocking and loud as hell already, throw this in and the valley might shake again. just curious as if there was a big enough request could it be done Saturday night.

as a rival fan, i love hearing it in tiger stadium..
one of the great things about the college football experience.. i've watched the youtube clips for years..
wish our band did it justice..

I promise, I'd tell you to your face that i don't give a shite about that song. If playing neck is the thing that gets students more riled up than ever, then the student section has became very lame since I was in school.

It would take a massive effort (possibly thousands to tens of thousands of signatures of season ticket holders and TAF members) petitioning the Athletic department with a separate petition to the SEC not to fine LSU when the student section chants obscenities to the song.
Even with a MASSIVE groundswell paired with a media campaign, we would still only be able to play it during TV timeouts.

Hearing "Hey Bama, we just beat the hell out of you" would be legendary, but there's NO chance of hearing that from TGBFTL. To this day my favorite cheer of all time is when we beat Florida yelling "It sucks to be a Florida Gator" while doing the chomp... Man "Rammer Jammer" would probably top that

This is stupid that they would lose money or be fined by the SEC like some other poster said. It's a game and it's a song. There's nothing more sweet to a Tiger fans ears than hearing the band play during a football game. It only means one thing. It means we are doing good.
To play neck and some of the old songs would be of great reward to the fans. I'm all for playing the song in between quarters so it's not on TV. If that is what it takes then send me the petition to sign. We need the crowd for this game. We need the band to bring it.

Write emails and letters to Joe Alleva (athletics@lsu.edu) and Roy King (rking3@lsu.edu).

Easy to say, dumbass, but the band is almost exclusively funded by the athletic department. They better listen to whatever they tell them to do.
