come again? Good god.

LSU will be strong as hell up the middle with Lacourte and Godcheaux and Beck in the middle....and we also have experienced outside backers...and our DE's can't be worse than last year at pressure.......I swear...some of you just type shite without having a clue.

The mindset of we have to put the game on our shoulders. A productive offense would help that.

I know this much, we are very strong up the middle on defense, and it's not unproven...and I know they will be beastly in the secondary. Finally, I know that 99.9% of the people on this site don't respect anything you have to say. Tell us again how those 7 or 8 new starters on offense at Auburn are going to unstoppable, while our 9 returning offensive starters...you are VERY concerned about them. LOL

i guess you dont know what unproven means. I didnt say inexperienced. I said unproven.

You can only get by on how good you were in High school for so long.

Godchaux and Beckwith are the only ones that have "flashed". None of the others have, and you're a homer if you say otherwise.

Give me a fkn break. Lacourte is very solid at DT....as I said, they will be VERY STRONG up the middle barring injury. All THREE are PROVEN. Proven means that they have shown in the past, at a bigtime D1 program, that they can play well. They were very good the last 2/3rds of the regular season last year...and they will only be better this year. But hey bud, whatever floats your boat.

Ive like what Ive seen from Lacoutoure this offseason. He's been unstoppable in the drills ive seen. But he hasn't proven shite on Saturdays. He's been mediocre at best. Granted he's been forced into action earlier then he should have, but he needs to take it up a notch.

Most concerned about Coach Steele. I am not sure if he is the right man for the job, I know Alleva put a limit on how much Miles could pay Chief's replacement, I just hope we didn't settle.

DT depth

we have 4 guys that can play for sure

who are those 4? QT may not be the same player he was before his injury and may not even be fully recovered. Johnson, Gilmore, and Herron haven't shown anything yet in games and the coaches had so little confidence in them last season that 255 lb DE Neal was moved inside and played over them.

Yes, we may have the best 3 at those positions in the SEC. Our starters are as good as they come in the middle of our D. Beyond that is a big concern for me. Hopefully some of those guys have come on or even more hopefully we don't need them.

that their ability to force turnovers puts the offense back on the field too quickly after a long scoring drive...

I agree boxcar and Davin and Loc will need some breaks. Ideally they would be playing 6o%-65% of the time and Beckwith maybe 70% to 75%. Look back in 11 when LSU played 11 players on the DL in every game. Everyone was fresh and there wasn't much of a drop off. Then look at the last two years when starters on the DL were playing 80% or more.

I have zero concerns about coach Steele as well. No way he can be worse than Chavis and and will most likely be a big upgrayedd (spelled with two d's for a double dose of his big time d coordinating)

Pass rush and Run defense. The secondary and linebackers are fine actually. The question is can we stop the run up the middle and sack the QB?

We need to add "lbu". We can say "dlu" and "dbu". It's all we're missing

I'm glad you are better. Apparently you went into a coma after the Auburn game last year and missed the rest of the season when Beck took over.

Wait, we thought all of our Recruiting Classes are so highly ranked. Why are there Depth problems at DL and LB?

Can you say "Overrated and Unbalanced." (Which produce 8-5 seasons)

How about not recruiting "Academic Risks" and "Thuggish Criminal" types any longer......
