What was our D-line rotation last game? Ed Alexander looks pretty good.

I never keep up with who's in the game, but I did notice Ed. He's gonna be a stud, right?

Big Ed looks good for sure.

Hopefully Valentine will get back after his week in the doghouse for whatever he did because we're going to need a plug up front for Arkansas and Alabama.

I didn't think missing LaCouture would be a big deal but it seems like we need a big and experienced body in there.

Thought I saw him too, but it was big Ed. 95 I saw instead of 55. Ed is a monster and should start over Gilmore..

Gilmore gave it 50% every time I looked at him last game. With Alexander and Lawrence behind him (who in my mind are better than him), he needs to be giving it 110% every play or he might lose his spot later in the season.

We need Valentine especially for rush defense up the middle. Maybe this week will light a fire under his arse and he will be more motivated.

Sure hope so; the middle looked a little soft without him out there. Regardless Alexander and Lawrence should get more time.

EXACTLY! T.V. must have done something, and I hope it is more than losing wt. If they don't play him, he is NOT going to have the conditioning to stay in the game! Sadly he won't last a qtr vs Bama.

Both Alexander and Lawrence got meaningful PT, and both looked good IMO. Add to that the quality reps White got at ILB, and the core of that front 7 next year is looking better, and better. Add LOC back next season at DE, DL should be stout. Bringing back Key at OLB, White, D. Alexander and Divinity...and hopefully an impact FR or two....no reason our front 7 should NOT be very good next season.

From what I have seen so far , Ed Alexander looks to be the best freshman DT we have. I have seen Lawrence a few times and he gets good push but I'm wondering if he's better suited at DE in the 3-4?

From what I have seen Alexander has been getting his reps at NG/DT, and Lawrence has been at DE. Usually (just from what I have observed) both are in there at the same time which says a lot about them....staff must have confidence in them to have 2 FR on DL at same time. IMO, both will be pressing to start next season.
