that made them think LSU would lose to Arkansas last week...was it that they were just surmising that we would be drained and unmotivated after Bama because they've seen us play that way in previous years, or was it something else?

Remember when $aban coached here and the team we crushed lost their will to play the next game? That's what happened.

Believe it or not, Arky has played well this year ... should have beaten both Bama and Ole Miss. Combine that with an uninspired LSU team and you get Arky's first win in 17 SEC games.

I've known since early in the year we were going to lose this game with Arkansas. Arkansas is not a bad team. This is the game right after Bama. LSU was deflated after losing in the last seconds to Bama. The game was in Arkansas, where LSU usually struggles even in the best years.

Maybe they'd objectively watched LSU and Arkansas.

Arkansas was obviously better than their record.
LSU was physically and emotionally drained from Bama screwjob
Cold weather
At Arkansas
Motivational factor for Arky.. "blood in the water" so to speak

When I saw our guys drinking hot chocolate on the sideline I knew we were screwed!

Arkansas should have beaten A&M as well as Bama. Their defense is very good. Road trip for LSU after losing in OT against Bama. Easy pick.

Well Arkansas has played well. We are one dimensional and were coming off a deflating loss .

We wouldn't have been more than a 3-point favorite even if we beat Alabama.

Said it before and will say it again, we don't need an open date before playing Bama, we need the open date the weekend after Bama. I know we must have a say so in the open date because for years now we have had an open date before Bama. I know next year we go back to just 1 open date rather than 2 well the open date needs to be after the Bama game. The team, the coaches and the fans always have Bama hangover.

It wasn't just vegas. The line ended up moving even more in Arkansas' favor.

Reminds me a lot of the '98-'99 LSU teams.

So many hard-fought, close losses.

Didn't take an expert. I said we'd lose it 3 weeks ago. And I'm a homer
