What power hitters do we have coming in next year?

Perhaps a Wes Grisham type with barbaric biceps?
I remember a relay throw from left field. Arm barely cleared his head. Flexibility he had not.

Let's worry about these next 2-3 games before worrying about next year

we have Robertson, Freeman, Duplantis, Deichmann, Watson, Smith, Jordan, Papierski, and Slaughter right now.

Kid from N.Y. Storz I believe is his name could be a 2 way player

Watson , smith and if they can teach slaughter to hit the ball in the air and not hard ground balls at SS

Someone mentioned a guy who didn't play this season may have a breakout season with power. Can't think of his name. Slaughter is the guy I was most excited coming in. He's got all the potential.
Storz the next McKay hopefully

Watson for sure, Smith seems to hit a lot of warning track balls, a good off season in the weight room will help. Maybe Slaughter and hopefully a couple of newbies.

Have they unlocked all the doors at the insane asylums? What's with the crazy people starting threads today?

Watson, slaughter and the Jordan twins all have power.

Storz if he hits will have the best pure power on the team next year. Could steal that 1B role. Range would be incredible since he's 6'6.

The Jordan twins are not power guys at all really. They may LOOK like they have power since they are about 5'9 210, but not really. Last year Bryce hit 5 home runs and Beau 4, this year Beau has 4 homers. They are more of grinders at the plate, not guys who have great bat speed and raw power ability...neither really hits for doubles or home runs. Bryce is the true grinder of the two because the dude just hovers over the plate to get pelted with even slight mistake pitches.

Well yes that's true, they aren't true power guys however they are more than capable of driving a mistake very very deep. I remember Bryce hit a ball over the scoreboard against Missouri last year.

Coomes only hit 2 this year, but he has the potential to hit 8-10 next year if he's an everyday player.

JUCO transfer Ratphuc Hobley has really found his power stroke

Practically everyone on the roster can do that, Robertson went from hitting 2 home runs last year to 8 this year because he's been trying to go after those high pitches more and more with full speed behind his swing. I mean, maybe one or both may make the Top 5 in terms of power next season kind of by default, but I think Storz, Watson and Slaughter are in a different category all together. You have lightly used guys like Woley & Templet. Coomes can really increase his home runs as well.
Daniel Cabrera can get a nice bit behind him as well. Mason Doolittle has a frame you love for some future power, but isn't there yet jacking them out. Hunter Feduccia can turn on some pitches.

It would be awesome if he makes it to campus, but I don't think he will qualify. If he does, he will be clean up for sure.
