I didn't really get to watch the game. I hated every second but was at a celebration for a friend. Caught parts here and there. I know fournette looked great, but who are some other guys who looked really good that I should be excited about this year?

KT2. Tre White appeared to get whipped by Wilson but I have faith in him

Harris.

absolutely... his hand offs and execution on those toss dives were awe inspiring..

real answer: Toliver at CB was amazing... dude's 1st college game and he was money.... Key did well, Jefferson was good, Godchaux, before he was exhausted in the 4th... Moore, the FB, had some very nice blocks... Dural, poor thing, would have scored multiple times and he did well blocking down field... Williams had some nice runs... as did Fournette...

Key, Beckwith, KT2, Jones, David Moore are the ones that stood out most to me.

Good to see the KT praise. What about Jamal Adams? I've been in OSU country telling buckeye fans that he's gonna end up the best safety in the country

Harris

looked very composed and in control. Made good decisions with the ball and threw with accuracy when called upon to throw (which of course was rare). Made some good runs as well. Answered all the questions as to whether he was the real deal or not. To bad the offense went into a shell or we could have made quick and easy work of Moo St.

Adams didn't do much. It looked like he blew an assignment on State's lone long pass play downfield. He also had a really dumb taunting penalty. To be fair to our entire defense in the second half, Dak was just dropping back and completing quick 5-8 yard throws in 4-5 wide sets. He wasn't getting burnt on them so it could just be Adams doing his job.

ETA: Adams did blow up a couple people. He might have single handedly cost MSU a first down when their RB dropped an easy gimme to start looking upfield

Same for teuhema.

I thought Toliver did very well for his first game, but the praise may be a bit overdone. He seemed to be beat by half a step frequently and wasn't looking back much. Flirted with interference several times because of it.

Not sure whether it was he or Adams with the busted coverage on the wheel route.

That said, he shows a lot of promise.
