LSU was one of the top 8 teams every year. I don't think LSU was ever the #1 overall seed.

What in the hell are you talking about. Congrats to UCLA, theyve certainly earned it and played lights out. You're crazy if you think theyre better than LSU. Top to bottom LSU has considerably more talent. They played better that night in a park and game situation that favored them completely, scored to unearned runs and still won by one run with runners in scoring position in the 9th. LSU beats them 9/10 times with Nola on the mound.

Youre talking as if this is football. Baseball is such a quirky sport that is dependent on too many factors. That's why they play 162 fricking games in MLB.

if LSU played UCLA 10 times in a neutral field that didn't give either team an advantage
I would say LSU wins 7 or 8 times.
