what an insanely retarded argument.

The best team doesn't always win in sports, it is why the play the game.

We didn't get it done, these teams did. I can still think LSU was the better team but blew the opportunity without wanting to change the system.

I guess that thought is too complex for you

I think LSU had a bad tournament but was better than any team at the CWS. Next year should be a fun one!!

So you are in favor of a system in which the 4th or 5th best team gets to be champs? I'm not

Who cares who the best team is? UCLA out executed LSU. They made the plays and we didn't.

when it comes to tournaments in any sport the best teams don't always play for the title.

I would say LSU UNC were the two best teams in the CWS. UCLA is a team who is pitching the best and the stadium lets them do well.

MSU is an above average team who is playing their best baseball right now.

talent wise I would rank it this way

1. UNC
2. LSU
(not to sure about 3-8 but)
3. UCLA
4. MSU
5. UL
6. OSU
7. NC State
8. Indiana

Do you suggest LSU get penciled in to the Championship Series? They lost both of their games. Not one game but 2 games lost. LSU played poorly. They better learn to hit low line drives when they go to Omaha. Somehow Katz was able to adjust.

the Rams were clearly better than the Saints in 2011, despite the Saints going 13-3.

The Giants must have been better than the undefeated Patriots.

LSU beat Bama 9-6 then lost to them 21-0 in the same season.

That is what makes sports so great, the better team doesn't always win. You just have to be better that day (unless you are Bama, then you get another shot)

Moment of silence for people that actually think the "best teams" and not the hottest teams always make it to the finals in every sport.

This is great, I really can't believe so many people really feel LSU is the best after the CWS performance

LSU fans can't give a shred of credit to any other team whatsoever

I'm in favor of a system when top 64 teams in the nation are given an equal chance to win it all. In these system usually top 8 will beat out the rest, sometimes teams who aren't top 8 make a run and other times the top teams win it all.

You want to crown the champ without anyone playing for it?

So you ask a question, then criticize someone who doesn't agree with you???
Yea, I still they are one of the best teams in country. Teams have bad days, but over the course of 4 months, we were one of the 3 best.

God you're an idiot. And I don't base that on this thread alone.
