What Miles did for LSU was great and should be regarded as such, but...

It's simply time to move on. Thank you CLM from the bottom of this LSU fans heart. All good things must come to an end. It was a fun decade and as far as LSU loar...you will always have your place. I've pumped Sunshine when needed (which wasn't near as often as 95% of other programs). Had your back many of time management issues, and with your help I've forced many Nega's to eat crow. Thank you for your service and representing LSU the way you have. I've heard from numerous former Tigers that your players love you and many consider you a 2nd father. That shouldn't be swept under the rug. It's just time for this program to move in a different direction.

Much love Les,

Random LSU Hero

I know you were an insider and on top of the whole Cam Cameron coming to LSU so what have you heard so far about Les and his possible replacement? It seems like in some other threads you are hinting at it being Jimbo. And yes I agree with everything you said. Geaux Les but his time has come.

Just paying homage to a coach that has won an assload of games here, and at the same time represented the school and program with honor.

That's the thing, you can want a change and still love Les.

Straight up ignored my post hahaha. I followed that anchored thread about Cam and you were legit so was just wondering if you knew anything. I believe in you! Haha

I agree with Random LSU Hero. Les is a great guy. Unfortunately sometimes its not always going to work out for great people. Feel bad for him but would like to see a change before it gets even worst.

It's not like he contradicted himself or you caught him in a lie. Sounds like a man appreciative of Les Miles, but like most, has realized the inevitable. I thought it was a great post.

I don't understand why so many people think that you either have to hate Les or love him and there is no in-between. I've never been a fan of his coaching style, but like random said, he has been a great man, a great ambassador for LSU, and an above average coach. He is just on the decline of his career. Coaching major D1 football is and will always be a business and Les Miles is a CEO whose company is starting to see diminishing returns. Time to go, but that doesn't diminish the spurts of success we saw under him.

It's really curious how negatively some of you see a change in heart based on new information when your biggest beef with Miles was his stubbornness to change.

Is it really a boom to have documentation of someone having a different opinion 3 years later?

It's even more curious how those of you having the change of heart are claiming it's because of new information, even though it's not.

That post from 3 years ago starts off saying 'I guess we're still keeping the guy that wins 80% of his games'

He's currently at 78%, and if Lsu wins out he's at 79%. Throw in the cancelled mcneese game and it's even higher.

But you keep on harping on this phantom new information that has come to light all of a sudden.
