How optimistic are you that you will like the next coach hired and that he will bring back the magic to the LSU program?

0% to 100%

Today I am at about 70%.

I originally thought everything was a smokescreen. I don't think that's the case anymore

25%

100% if we hired a big name like Smart or Dixon. I just don't see that happening.

My athletics sources have confirmed its Tubby Smith. Excitement level was like at a -%.

And by sources, random people I know that work in Athletics.

Tubby- Zero
Jones- 10%

Smart or Dixon are only ones above 75%

everyone else is in that 10% range so pretty sure I'll be let down

but Tubby man that is very short term and no upside IMO

Not good. They are looking at Sunbelt coaches and over-the-hill past their prime coaches. No Sunbelt coach has ever made it moving from the Sunbelt to a major conference. Just ask Arkanas. I will support Jones if hired to be the first. My choice would be the Pitt. coach.

Alleva has proven himself to be a complete buffoon....if he would have run Trents behind 3 weeks ago we could have gotten Frank Martin. What an absolute joke......now we have to settle for a has been.

Good Grief, how hard is it to get a young energetic guy to bring some excitement back to the program? The next guy in is going to have to work tirelessly to recruit, and also sell the program back to fans who have been alienated by the last two idiots we've had on the sidelines.

25% but that's only because we really don't know anything about what will happen. That's why I have it as high as 25%. If I were to beleive the reports I'd be closer to 0%. Tubby Smith would be the absolute worst possible case. Not only would we have to pay him close to 2mil, he's obviously washed up and may be canned at Minnesota of all places by this time next year. All this talk of Smith and that Southwestern Norfolk Island State coach has got me thinking I'd be thrilled if we got Jones now.
