What is Tim Brando's issue with LSU?

Seems like he's extremely negative towards the program at every turn, whether it was handling the Miles situation last November, firing him this year, the UF situation, and now he's claiming LSU leaked the Herman info (which I can't for the life of me think of one good reason why they would).
Is there some back story I'm unaware of ?

I believe he is from Shreveport but I don't know what his beef with LSU is. He clearly said that LSU leaked the Herman to LSU story last night.

Wake up! When has anyone from the media or another football school payed anything close to a compliment to our AD Alleva? The guy is an arrogant a** that nobody likes. The difference between the respect Bertman had compared to Alleva is night and day.

His job isn't "to be liked" pal.
His job is to look out for LSU's Athletic interest. The Florida situation was handled correctly by Aleva.
The Coaching hire at this point has been handled correctly. If O gets the job then I am good with it.

Brando is a loyal follower of Dale Brown and has always claimed LSU did Dale wrong. Basically you ignore a complete moron that has been run off form prime jobs at ESPN and CBS because of his self inflated ego

He likes to be controversial and stir stuff up, but I don't think he dislikes LSU in general.

I used to work at CBS Sports several years ago and my boss was a good friend of Tim Brando's. When he found out that I was from Louisiana and an LSU fan he made a point of discussing LSU sports at every opportunity. He never struck me as being anti-LSU until recently. Something definitely happened to sour his relationship with LSU because he obviously despises us now.

He's always been a fan of Dale Brown and has been vocal about his distaste for the way LSU has dealt with Brown post-retirement.

I am 66 I have been a devoted fan since I was 12 ,if coach O goes ,I couldn't care less about LSU,I am a ogeron , Miles fan and don't like the butt holes who pretend to be fans these days you don't have to be a LSU fan to enjoy drinking and dragging LSU coaches down !!

I don't understand this thinking. Miles needed to be fired. I would prefer Jimbo or Herman but I won't be upset if Orgeron gets the job. Either way I'm going to watch LSU and so are the people that they are claiming they won't. This is just like the I'm moving to Canada if Trump wins.
