What is the point of going to a basketball or football game and sitting?

I mean really? You can sit on your couch and save the trouble of going and being bothered by noisy fans. I'm on my couch in a different state and making just as much noise as the people on tv. Literally useless if you aren't going to help make it hard for the other team

Pmac only gets loud in the last couple of minutes.
For huge games it's loud most of the time.
This is one of those games it won't ever get loud unless it's close under 5 to go.

When I was young and stupid, I was all for standing. Now I am older and smarter.
Sitting is better. Sitting is DEFINITELY easier. More people have a better view when everybody is sitting. Plus, as far as the enthusiasm transfer from the stands to the players, standing up from a sitting position is a more visual response than constantly standing.
