by true frosh Teuhema and Weathersby. Thought Brum and Boutte were studs. Stars do not add up. Any explanations here or encouragement would be appreciated.

Pretty clear that the only explanation is that they've been bested

It's what Miles has done. Plays the best players regardless of experience outside of maybe QB and PR. It's just another reason it's easier for him to recruit because he proves it each passing year. With that said, these young guys just might have IT. Obviously the coaches see it and I believe them. Just look at how outstanding they've played. Fournette's stats, lack of sacks against one of the best teams in the country two days ago, etc. Grimes knows his players and it shows. I'm sure it'll lead to some transfers at some point but that's the nature of competition.

Bruh, didn't year?

Les Miles plays favorites.

Just wait
Anthony Jennings is gonna start next game NO matter what

His secret suspension is about to be over.

So we missed on the first 4. That is basically what I am thinking. Just looking for affirmation.

Just because the 1st aren't playing doesn't mean they are misses.

The 2 freshmen are just studs.

Only if your view is that Maea and Toby are average/below average and the other 4 must suck. If all 6 are good, and the 2 freshman are the best, then what's the issue?

When Vadal, Hawkins and Pocic leave those guys will be playing and tehuma and clapp will be the experience studs holding down the line helping the other guys out. This is a good problem to have.

No, you can't say that yet.

It's also a function of position. Teuhema was good enough to win the starting LG spot, but just because Weathersby subbed in for him doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the quality of the other players. Some of them may not be in consideration for the LG spot and are backups for RG, RT, etc...

A lot of O Linemen don't come into their own until their 2nd or 3rd (if a redshirt) year in a program. These guys will hone their technique another year, and the cream will rise to the top. We will likely lose 2, possibly even 3 guys this year to the draft, so they won't have to wait long.
