Their nickname is the Orange. As in the color. Just like the Cardinal, Crimson Tide, etc.
Obviously since the team is made of males. They are the Orangemen.

Syracuse was originally a Methodist school. In the old country, Orange was the color of Protestantism, as opposed to Green for Catholicism. Now you know..
