His back ground is good enough to be the AD at a school like LSU that just had an 18 million dollar surplus in the athletic dept. Did u like his two Basketball fires/hires this yr? I like Johnny Jones and his upbeat style I think LSU basketball will sale more tickets. Trent Johnson was a hot commodity, many schools were after him. He didnt get the job done and was terminated as soon as the contract was expendable. Johnny Jones can be seen as a reach, but I think it will go down as a terrific hire down the road. I like Jones but i can see the argument that we couldve gotten a bigger name, but either way they need to run up tempo here to make up for the talent deficiency here in LA for bball. The LSU womens team has lost ground and the ole fart Van whatever, that was there previously got one yr too many, but was replaced accordingly and this new coach was very sought after.
Our AD is not the reason our football team has lost several big games recently.
