What if Nick Saban had stayed in the NFL. Where would LSU sit then?

Obviously better than where we are now, but do you see the same issues with the team if Nick never came back to coach college? Same QB/offensive problems? About the same recruiting rankings?

Maybe the admins need to establish a Nick Saban board for all of you Sabanistas to play in.

Until then a few hard facts for you:
1. He doesn't coach here anymore
2. He was NEVER going to stay
3. He is NEVER coming back
4. He would NEVER have come back

It really depends on who bama would have hired. But I'm willing to bet we would have won the 2011 and 2012 title and Les would be one of the greatest coaches of all time.

Undefeated for 140 years. But the rant would still complain that the other teams got too many 1st down.

Gumps would've hired an Ex Gump coach. So we win 2007 and 2011 but they would've got their cronies at SEC Office to put LSU on probation for nothing. At some point, the Gumps would've have hired the best available coach (Urban?) and they would've come back to the forefront. System is rigged to make sure Gumps win SEC.
