Is it really that big of an issue to you?

Ever have someone walk up to you wearing an LSU shirt and they started talking woman's hoops?

Didn't think so

Apparently so, the OP is starting a thread about it.

I'd rather spend all the $$$ we're spending on Nikki Caldwell on something else.

There is turmoil between players to players and even players to coaches. At least that is the consensus that most fans of the game have seen on the court and heard rumors of behind closed doors. It sucks too, because this team really had good potential to go far this year.

If this is the case, then Nikki needs to get her good-coach skills together to help these girls play as a team and to put all other selfish issues aside. It's one thing to have talent and another thing to coach the talent to have good chemistry together.

College sports are all about recruiting. Current players are not athletic enough and a couple who are make bonehead decisions. I like NC's fashionable style but she had better match it with great recruiting and top notch leadership quickly.

Nikki Caldwell and her wretched excess salary is taking LSU for a ride. Grossly overpaid and not producing. Three years is enough of this BS. Time to cut bait.

Jeaux loves the great recruiters that can't coach jack.

I care because it's LSU and I want LSU to win big time (And should) in all sports. No reason not to except for inept and sub-standard coaching.

I do agree that her salary is too high for the quality if the product she's putting on the floor. If we lose to Bama and then lose again in the first round of the SEC tourney, then Alleva needs to turn up the heat on Nikki.

Nikki is doing fine. It's not men's basketball. From what I've read they only have two seniors. Let these gals have time to develop.

As a whole, the sport is in trouble. Uconn beats teams in top 5 by 40.

Definitely chemistry issues, some players have been in doghouse all year including Ballard and Youngblood - would not be surprised to see those two move on after season.

Caldwell doesn't look like the easiest coach to play for either.

Get Kramer to lure Kim Mulkey in here.

They had a fast break with a clear shot to the goal, the crowd got somewhat excited then they missed the layup with a 1 inch vertical. Thus.... Women's B-Ball explained as a whole.

Well, her salary is a dead issue. She was paid market value and THAT is not gonna chance. Time to stop complaining about it.

I do belive there are chemistry issues on this team. No team goes 17-4 and is ranked #12 in the nation, and then all of a sudden loses 6 straight games, without there being some extraneous circumstances. What they are, we don't know. But, you can see the ladies' body language on the court that all is not well in the locker room. Hopefully, the coaching staff can figure it out for next season. This season is probably a lost cause at this point......sadly.

Last year's Sweet 16 run with 7 and a half healthy players would say otherwise.

She has definitely produced her first few years here. Something's gotta be going on behind the scenes.
