When they came here everyone thought it would be a big boost for SEC basketball even if they didn't help football much. Instead they've won 2 East titles in football and have been absolute shite in basketball.

The SEC Board is hysterical. Mizzou fans are jumping ship.

Just remember when something doesn't go your way, "it could be worse, I could be a Mizzou fan!"

Frank Haith pain train? (lingering effects)

He used to hand out pizzas to the students standing in line for the big ACC games when he was at Miami. That was nice.

Frank Haith got them on probation. Kim Anderson came in and has had to very cautious in his recruiting which hasn't been great to start with.

Bottom line, they don't have any good players.

This.
It's not the same program that we thought was coming in to the SEC. The sanctions have killed them. That, combined with any good player from that area (any area really) wanting to go to your Kentucky's, Duke's, etc etc, it's just killed their bball program.

I know their last coach left them with probation similar to what happened to our program post Dale.

But yeah, they were gawd awful. That they were up at half was testament again to what kind of team we are all to often, soft an unmotivated.

The second half showed what we could be if we could only be compelled to play with some energy and focus.
