You're right Rickdaddy4188, he was having an above average season is 2011 prior to the postseason. Don't argue with these two trolls in the thread, you're only wasting your time

I never seem a fan base more willing to shite on its players than our fans. Whether they like him or not JJ gave more to lsu football on Wednesday during the off season than they ever will. Same thing with JLEE in 2008.

Without a doubt. It tells you all you need to know finishing in the top 15 8 OUT OF 10 YEARSisn't good enough. Miles has 7 of lsu's 13 10 win seasons.
Poster on here act like winning 10 games in the sec west is an easy accomplishment when facts prove otherwise.from 2009 to 2013 only 4 programs out of 126 won at least 9 games every year, let alone 10, and lsu was one of them. It's hard to win 10 games every year in a mid major let alone the sec west.

I like how you call everyone "dumbass". It's funny.

I recommend everyone do an advanced search history for poster "Rickdaddy4188" and term "dumbass". Quite entertaining and search only goes back 15 days using poster/keyword.

But he "I knew ore footbal at 9".

Awesomeness. Continue on.

He relied on his natural talent and never got even a little bit better. That narrative fits with him being completely unprepared for the biggest game of his life. That said, we also had a shitty gameplan, so its not all his fault.

So he regressed then. That's not a flattering fact for JJ.

He was an average QB to begin with who was killed by poor OC coaching, lousy development from his QB coach, and a horrible offensive philosophy from his head coach.

To top it all off he was stubborn and obtuse, and did stupid shite that a 7th grader knows not to do.

I think he's Miles agent or a family member sucking off the teet. Gotta keep that gravy train rolling.

Pretty much this.. he was promising in 2009, terrible in 2010, and adequate in 2011. Gary motherfrickin' Crowton literally set us back a decade at the QB position.

61 completion % 3/1 td / int ratio 138 qb rating 7.7 yards per attempt Is a good year That's a fact. Not a biased ignorant opinion

And Jarrett Lees stats were all better. JL also had 67 more pass attempts but 10 less sacks and only 1 more INT. Also had 8 more TDs than JJ. Just admit it dude, he wasn't even as good as J Lee was and he wasn't that good either. Bit he still shouldn't have even came in that late. We would have done better with Lee IMHO.

The McNeese fans were hoping Jordan Jefferson would stay in the game with us in 2010, but no, you had to go and put Jarrett Lee in the game.

I remembered watching JJ in the 2008 season bowl game thinking "man, I think we got the next mike Vick" , then I went to Seattle in 2009, and the opening game was Ho-hum
This was the problem. A 9-20 performance had the simpletons thinking he shined, when he was average to below average from the start.

I don't think either QB was a leader on that team. Good God, It wouldve been great to have Zach in there.

He was 16-25 with a touchdown and I believe he had a 70 yard touchdown called back.

He definitely fell apart later, but when you look at the big picture he's not the worst Qb we've had at LSU. Anthony Jennings is.

This is just stupid. He didn't fall apart later, he was always awful. You know how many games J Lee bailed him out of in 2010? Take a guess.

You don't know what would have happened that game with J Lee. One thing I can tell you, J Lee came started out strong, completing passes, and moving the chains before the bad interception. The second interception was all on the coaches after having him sit out a long time and the first play back throw a deep ball over the middle.

Anthony Jennings, as bad as he was last year, will finish with better stats than JJ...if Jennings plays the next two years......let that sink in.

He also bailed LSU out of the Florida game absolutely, and probably the Alabama game as well in 2010.

no he wasn't....against a cream puff yes....did you happen to catch the Georgia and second Alabama game? Two of the five he started.....he did beat some lower tier team for one of his wins....and Arkansas ended up good due to special teams and defense.....but his first half there was horrible as well.

Anthony Jennings will not have better stats than JJ...

Lee was terrible against bama 3-9 and 2 picks we weren't moving the ball with him in the game.
