He went from being a highly regarded NFL OC who had coached some potent offenses in his past history and had achieved some great successes to being the OC of one of the most impotent conservative unimaginative offenses in college football history. Does he bear any responsibility for LSU's offense as he is the OC?

Only if the offense plays well. It's Les' fault otherwise. That's what I've learned around here atleast.

Internal politics if you ask me. Chavis leaving for less money speaks to that.

As for bearing any responsibility, he's already admitted before this season started that he shoulders some of that blame.

reading his bio I see that he spent his first 10 year in coaching under Michigan coach Bo Schembeckler

Kinda like when an Alabama DC goes somewhere else and blows, people say "well that must have been all Nick Saban while Joe Blow was at Alabama". Think of the EXACT OPPOSITE in this scenario.

He gets paid $1.3 Million per year to have Miles be the Offensive Coordinator. Seems like a dream job to me!

none, Les doesn't let him attend practice, film session or any other team function.

It has been three years, and Cam hasn't figured out his headset is turned off.

Was our offense impotent in 2013 when we had a capable QB?

hasn't been like 2 full seasons plus one game. I'd say that's enough time to start forming some kinds of opinions on him.

His first season, 2013, he inherited some of greatest offensive talent in LSU or even NCAA history yet finished 6th in total offense in the SEC and we ended the year 10-2 and playing in the outback bowl. LSU passed the ball 38% of our offensive plays that season with Mett in his senior year at QB and Landry and OBJ at WR's.

Then in 2014 the offense was just a total debacle. He seemed to be clueless on how to work with young talent that many other OC's would love to be able to work with.

2015. Has gone completely into a shell on offense. The offense was putrid despite great talent on that side of the ball and came out of it with a W after Miss St won the game for us.

the rest of 2015 will be his real testing grounds. Time to quit making excuses

Chavis left because of a clause in our contract that stated basically if Miles ceased to be our head coach Chavis's position was not guaranteed.

considering the talent he had on the offensive side of the ball I would say he greatly underachieved.

Cam Cameron said: " we don't want to score too many points for the sake of scoring, we want to win the damn game". How do you lose a game by scoring too many points?
