Driving to work this morning, I heard Jordy Cullotta talking about a weird moment when Gregg McElroy said something to Saban on air and as soon as they went to break, McElroy jumped up to apologize to Saban and Saban totally blew him off.

Anyone see this?

Saban has stated in the past that he prefers to have his left nut rubbed and massaged and McElroy went for the right nut. Rookie mistake.

Wasnt a weird moment. McElroy mentioned UA's record against Top-15 teams in the last 2 years. Saban didn't know the answer off the top of his head. I didn't find it awkward at all.

That is McElroy's job.

At the same time I lay some blame for the 2010 loss to Auburn squarely at McElroy's feet and a few other players that sat on the bench with him in the 4th qtr as Auburn came back to win.

McElroy is a better commentator than QB. Many QBs could have done as much as him at Alabama with the talent he had around him.
