Seriously what the hell has Bama done except lose with grace against LSU to deserve not only a chance at a BCS Natl Ship, but a rematch to boot.

If you ask your average Gump, he'll tell you OSU simply CAN'T make it in to the BCS NC game. After all, the Gumps are undefeated. Well, there was the LSU game where technically they lost, but they lost only on the scoreboard. They're still the best team in the country.

At this point, I don't think it really matters if they widen the margin more. They decisively handed the sooners their asses on a platter and were clearly there to prove something and did it well. They've (surprisingly) played good defense. Bama fans should be sweating.

Im just not convinced Bama is deserving. They pass the eye test and put us to the test, but Im not sure they are the only team that deserves a shot.

Bama does not desreve a shot at the National Championship even though they might be a better team than OSU. Does the number one seed in the NCAA basketball tournament or the College World Serirs get a second chance in the event they are knocked out by a weaker team. No they don't. The team that ls labeled as the best team does not always get to the final round. They had their shot and lost out. They just need to wait til next year.

I have alot of respect for Bama. They have one hell of a ball club, but I dont think they are a unanimous #2. They also had a shot and lost. So in the event they arent unanimous #2, I think another team deserves a shot.
