What did ump say to batter before last pitch

The batter was clearly taking and had no intention to swing. Took two close pitches that were called balls but looked like strikes.
Batter steps out of the box twice trying to delay and play mind games with Hess
Ump says something to the batter when he stepped out and seemed clearly agitated. Proceeds to ring him up on next pitch.
I couldn't find a replay to verify. Anyone else notice that?

Looked like he was saying "hurry tf up"

Ump wanted him close to the box and ready to go. He did that multiple times to multiple batters. Even caught Pap telling him "sorry" during one AB where he backed far away from the box. It's one of the things they can do to speed up the game.

I think the umpire had to go to the can and wanted the boys to hurry up.

He told him the Night Manager was closing the store. He didn't have to swing, but he was going home.

I'm really glad to see this ump put the hitters on a short leash when calling time out. The OSU hitters took too much time to get back in the damn box.

ESPN called down and said you have run over your time. We need to go to the MLB west coast night game. Hurry up and end this thing

He said, "You better swing at this one, Nancy."

When one of the LSU batters fouled a pitch off of his foot the ump told him "take ur time".

He told him get back in the box. He did this to several other batters throughout the game.

Very common. Keeping the game moving and also stopping him from showing up the umpire

if that hits you it will leave a 3 ft hole coming out

I think he said "unless the next pitch bounces to the plate or hits the backstop on the fly, I'm calling it a strike"...but I could be wrong. My lip-reading skills are rusty...

I honestly wish more umpires would do that.
