they blew 1 call, and that was the interference at 2nd that maybe gave SB 1 run

The check swing they called a strike against Stony Brook was pretty bad too.

Also the strike called a ball Gausman called "fricking bullshite."

The umpires in this series are just about as bed as our hitting. They have as many bad calls in this series as we have hits.

They've blown many calls. Not just against us. This isn't an "Umps hate LSU" post. It's a "why the frick do we have little league umps in a super regional?" post.

Every check swing is a strike. Pitches right down the middle are coin flips. Been nailing a corner for the first 3 innings and it's a strike every time? Ball!

It's crap. Only 8 places need NCAA umpires right now. How is it that any site gets a crew like this?

The calls against both teams on check swings are pathetic.

It reminds me of the SEC umpires. I don't think they have a bias either way. But they're fricking terrible at their jobs.

i think they got that call right because nola was able to get the base. he was actually at the bag before the runner. but the runner did slide with his cleats up as if he wanted to spike nola.

The check swings and inconsistent strike zones in both games has changed the games. I have never seen Paul come out as much as he has the last 2 dayd

i still think that was such a close play that both teams have a gripe ... just depends on your perspective ... i thought jankowski did a great job of getting into his slide late and then using his body to kinda shield the ump ... you could see it pretty easily from 3rd base side .. but, not so much on the other side of the bag

This. Literally every appeal has been called a strike. Some were not even close

i didnt understand that at ALL ... i don't know if i could have shown the restraint on my vocal chords like those guys were doing ... and every time johnson would paint that outside corner and not get the call, i was wondering what would have happened if that would have been LSU's pitcher up there at the box ... crowd might gone ron artest on the umps
