A lot of people bitch "I am one of them" about LSU's and Miles offensive style which is a pro-set offense, although this year it looked more like a pop warner offense. Do you want Miles to change the style of offense that LSU plays to a spread or hurry up, or would you prefer to keep the pro-set offense and just hope Miles can clean up the offense so it executes better?

The pro-set worked great when LSU has a quarterback that is cabable of making reads and throwing the ball.

Just need a QB that can execute a play, and pass effectively enough to take pressure off the run game...The style of Offense is fine, they are just short of one player that would make it work.

You need very smart qbs or qbs with a lot of experience to run ProStyle offenses. We aren't consistently going to get very smart qbs, if ever. So we should probably dumb it down to something simpler. That's not an insult to the qbs.

I don't care what style of offense they run, as long as its ran competently and doesn't look like a train wreck on the field.

exactly

any offense looks like shite when you don't have the players to run it effectively

Idk but our offense is as loaded and talented with youth as ever if Harris would just take over and be the guy.

Let's get our passing % above 50. We can go from there.

No one has said "offensive" yet? Falling down here..

My feelings are that LSU doesn't really have a system in place, but some fuzzy philosophy that isn't translating well to the real world. It takes years to build a system, Cam may be the guy to do it.

On gameday, our offense looks like it doesn't practice passing during the week. That's what I think.

I think the offense is going to be fine. I like the fact we aren't running what so many other teams are running because teams aren't built as much to defend teams that will pound you on the ground. This will be a 35-point-plus offense in 2015 and dare I say 40+ in 2016.

I feel that it's terrible.

We have no identity. Our base offense is what other teams run when they're trying to run the clock out at the end of games with a lead.

We do nothing to adapt to the type of players that we have. We do nothing to put our players in position to best utilize their strengths.

Our personnel use is downright awful, and we're just not well-rounded at all as an offense.

On top of all of that, Jennings just isn't very good.

We do nothing with our formations to manipulate defenses and take what they give us.

The entire scheme, and ideas of what they want to do are terrible. It needs to be completely scrapped, and rebuilt from scratch.

Regardless of style, you have to have a qb that can pass effectively when needed. We can't do that. Completing 7 passes a game isn't going to cut it especially when placed in a close game and you need that one drive to score during last few minutes.

I want the team to have a very formidable, effective offense. This will require a good QB. The style does not matter unless you think scoring about 13 points or less in SEC play is OK.

This is in line with my belief as well.

our offense would be great if we could execute the passing game reasonably well. we improved some at years end, esp before the bowl game.

our problem has been the qb not finding open receivers and when he does he doesn't throw the ball well enough to be caught. if this can be fixed we'll be fine. as any pro OC knows, you have to take what the defense gives you. our problem has been that we couldn't execute that so we had to run into their front 7 wall.

either style makes no difference to me. What does make a difference is Cam better produce, BIG TIME, in 2015 or hit the bricks!

If your recruits fail to run the offense the coach specializes in or intends, that coach should be held responsible to change the offense that best suits the player(s). Jennings/Harris both struggle with quick decision making inside the pocket at this stage in their careers. We should then be calling more one route reads, rub routes, quick WR screens, etc. to raise the confidence of the qb's and also keep the defense honest.

With that said, I believe that next year our offense will turn it around without making drastic changes but just minor tweaks.
