Two cupcakes to fine tune the team. What do you want to see (certain guys playing time or some team stats)

Need to see both QBs to see if Harris is a legit back up.

A few more passes to different WRs

TE play

Rotate DLine

Get Fournette rolling

I will be happy if I see LSU unleash the full-forced LSU treatment on the next two opponents. That means scoring, stats, time of possession, minimal mistakes, and more scoring. Sorry, cupcakes. But you signed on for the big bucks and you get 60 minutes of hell. Blowouts and shutouts would make me happy.

OTOH, if we play "down" to the opposition and look listless out there, I will not be happy and will feel as though the opportunity to build on some of the positives of the 2nd half of last night's game and talent and potential on this LSU team will have been totally (and characteristically) squandered by coaching.

This. Let's get his confidence up and get him acclimated and ready to punish some SEC defenses

i would throw the ball 25 times each the next 2 weeks. You know you can run it lets get AJ and the WR some reps the next 2 games.

Agreed. If we tried our best and executed, we should beat both by 50+. I don't think that will happen. But what I want to see happen is us dominate them and be up 28 points by halftime. Then we can mess around, work on things, etc. I hate those games where we go ultra vanilla against scrappy teams and let them hang around til the 4th quarter.

Keep throwing to the tight ends. We clearly want to involve them in the passing game, now let's execute.

Get everyone we can back from injuries and suspensions, no new problems, get Valentine cleared.

More reps for Harris and Fournette, to get them comfortable in real games.

3-0.

Better dline and lb play.

Better play calling. The first three quarters lacked identity and cohesiveness. Seemed like we didn't know what we had or what we were good at. Maybe it was first game jitters, being young, or whatever but it sucked.

Build confidence for Fournette and get Harris some key reps

Maybe get Chi some reps if he's healthy enough to play

ULM just beat Wake Forest y'know. Wake Forest is nothing great, but assuming 50-0 scores is a little silly and dangerous.

on defense, get the rushing yards per game way down...maybe get the total yards in the 2 games to average less than 100 yards, if not then 150

get the defense to pad some stats for their national averages

the passing yards is already very low at 50

on offense get a long run for Fournette, complete some passes to the tight ends, execute some flanker screens

I want to see if we can dominate a game from beginning to end. I also want to see if we can put a game plan together. I feel very good about the defense.

I don't care about "total domination". On offense, I want to see the QBs get their timing down with the receivers and see the short passing game start to click. Would also like to see Fournette get untracked. On Defense, I want to see the DL hold down the line of scrimmage to free the LBs to make plays.

Build confidence in the O line. Get Buga up to speed. Rotate the hell outta the D line and find out our true starters. See who wants to be out there. Jennings gets crisper on short-intermediate throws (screens, slants, timing routes, outs). Build his confidence/rapport with the WR's. Break the opposition's will early and get valuable experience for youngsters. STAY HEALTHY.
