My crew lands in Chicago a little after 9am on Thursday of next week. We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel. Only set plans so far are Cubs game/Wrigleyville Friday during the day and getting some good Chi-Town pizza at Lou Malnati's. Any other suggestions? Any particular bars that we can fill with LSU fans? Geaux Tigers!!!

Same here. Cubs game then to Green bay after. Hope to get there by 7ish to catch Cowboy Mouth at Green Bay Distillery. Sat, GAME DAY, then looking for a bar to watch night games. Maybe Molly McGees?
No real plans for Thursday....Downtown Chicago and see what happens

Got a huge group in the Budweiser Bleachers Thursday night. Going to be at least 20-30 LSU shirts in right field. Still tickets left on Cubs.com, let's just take over an entire 3-4 bleachers and "purple and gold" out the game!

We are heading to GB Saturday am as well. I'm thinking we are going to head out around 5:30-6:00am to maximize our time before the game. Should be okay bc Cubs game is an early afternoon game and we have a designated driver for the early Sat am ride...most of the crew will be just done partying...lol! Another tiger fan on this site told me that Titletown Brewing Co. is a nice bar, restaurant, brew house a short walk from the Hyatt on Main St. in GB where we are staying Saturday night.

Landing Wednesday. Sky deck at Willis tower. Kayak the Chicago River downtown. Navy pier. Lincoln Park zoo (free). Lou Malnati's deep dish. Superdawg. Friday in the bleachers at Wrigley and dinner at Kevin Burke's Primehouse. (Supposed to be epic steaks)

It's the Southwest flight that leaves out of MSY (Kenner/Louis Armstrong) on Thursday at 7:20am. We have 10 for sure...I think there will be a ton of LSU fans on board. They better stock up on beer and Bloody Mary mix for that flight.

You, my friend, have a real game plan!

Landing in Chicago Wednesday afternoon pizza at Uno's, fireworks downtown, blues music at either Kingston Mines or B.L.U.E.S. Thursday-Chicago Art Institute (museum in Ferris Beuhler's Day Off) possibly downtown boat tour, dinner David Burke's. Friday-Cubs game in the afternoon, not sure for dinner. Drive to Green Bay Saturday morning.

Our flight lands 9:30am in Chicago from Houston, get checked in Courtyard Marriott magnificent mile, still debating if son & I will go to cubs game, we did a couple years ago and getting on the subway were an adventure all by itself. But we're definitely eating dinner at Lou Malnati's, that's the only reason the wife & daughter are coming just to eat pizza. Anyway we're looking forward to it. Driving up to Green Bay Saturday morning 7:00

I'm seeing a lot of Lou malnatis and yes it's amazing but Giordanos takes the cake for me as far as Chicago pizza, just throwing it out there

Anyone have an idea of how bad traffic might be heading out of Chicago Friday after the game?

This is the other recommendation I got for the best pizza...seems like you can't go wrong either way!

I am in this crew. What up Zealot? Got me a new bad arse LSU Baseball jersey for the game. Why? Why not?? Gunna be a pile of LSU folks out. Be loud, be "borderline" obnoxious. Events like these are why people all over the country know how hard we travel.
While in Syracuse last year I realized how much other fans are in disbelief until it happens to them...
Not to mention Seattle for the WASH U game a few years ago. Half of those people didn't know what LSU was (literally. We were asked multiple times while wondering Seattle). They know now.
