Sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseum, but everything else about this situation has been beaten to death too.

Why did the SEC outright cancel the game on Thursday instead of sending both teams into a holding pattern based on the weather developments? Was it really that urgent to cancel the game so the players could scatter and the employees could go... Somewhere else? I mean Gainesville wasn't evacuated right?

This whole situation smells of bullshite.

..because Sankey is a bitch and let Foley control the situation.

Slive made the call on Thursday in 2005 to move the Tennessee game to a Monday night and told us to deal with it.

The biggest negative is I did not get a chance to see my beloved Tigers, and it is after all, all about me.

So what. We could have flown in yesterday or even this morning. No excuse whatsoever for not playing this weekend.
