We blew out a lot of teams and scored a lot of points. We have better RBs this year than them. Worse QB yes but not a drastic Drop off

The difference is everybody and their brother knows how to shut this offense down now and Miles refuses to adapt.

Better receivers and o-line in 2011. 2011 special teams were also awesome and constantly set the offense up with good field position.

Offensive line was better and the special teams put them in a better position to succeed

Yeah the field positions were the reason we lost yesterday

2011 had maybe the best defense in NCAA history giving them the ball with great field position and scoring points. OLine was better, too, and had a stable of rotating fresh very good RBs...I think Miles has actually become more conservative (if you can believe that's possible) since then...the pressure has tightened him up...it's an ugly self defeating cycle. Miles must go, he is utterly incapable of turning himself, the program around.

In 2011 we had a prototypical drop back passing QB that could make accurate throws. 2016 we have a QB that can't hit the side of a barn.

I am pretty sure this will be CLM last year but for the life of me I will never figure out why he recruited spread QBs and forced them to be pocket passers. If you run a pro offense recruit pro style quarterbacks.
