I'd like to see our other options. No way to know unless they get some game time.

After Saturday no.
We need to see what else is there.
At this point we should exhaust every option.
If nothing else it may light a fire under Harris' arse.

What about Lindsey Scott Jr?
Did he look that bad?

I watched the Spring game. As I recall, Etling completed several nice passes running the second team offense against the ones. It was Harris who did not.

Was he even enrolled in the spring?

It's one thing to start a true freshman. It's another to start one that didn't participate in spring ball.

If you came away Saturday thinking that the QB is what is holding this team back idk what to tell you.

Meanwhile, Anthony Jennings completed a higher % of his passes in one start at ULL than he did in any game of his LSU career. At some point it is no longer about players and much more about what they're asked to do and the positions they're put in during the game.

I actually sat next to him at the Spring game. Seemed intelligent and well spoken. And from his High School film he is clearly disciplined, fast, and can throw the ball. Can't vouch for how everything translates to the college game.

Based on the fact that hes already secured 3rd on the depth chart combined with Les's fear of giving new players a shot, he must be no less than decent.

He could be the next Russel Wilson and our coaches would miss it. Like they alway miss. He's smart athletic and Imo would be lights out with LF and DG next to him in a spread. His running ability alone would cause fits. So much wasted talent

It's not just the QB that's the problem, but for someone that is entering his third year in this program, he didn't do himself any favors with his play on Saturday.

I hope the kid can turn it around and have a good season, but for crying out loud, since everyone is screaming for Miles head (deservingly so) for not doing his job, lets hold some of the players accountable as well.

If they can't do what is asked of them, they should sit for a while and give other players a fair shot. Who knows, maybe some of the starters aren't the best players at their respective positions.

So your assessment is based on a few passes? Sounds legit.

Leave him on the bench. We don't want Les to screw him up. Maybe we will get a new coach that can handle him correctly.

Watch the spring game again! Etling looked better than Harris. Period!
