2012 - LSU 12 auburn 10

LSU won by 2 on the road to an auburn team that went 0-8 in SEC play that year.

I remember that game vividly. Auburn rallied all game and the fans were going crazy, much like Saturday with Miss state.

A lot of people upset about the game because of the lack of passing but need to remember, the Tigers went into a really loud tough environment and came away with a win. The emotional charge of an environment and a home team has always been a big factor in college football. LSU chose to fight in the trenches, and they came out victorious. I wish people would have a little patience when it comes to opening up the offense. I wholeheartedly believe it's coming!

Mett threw the ball 27 times that day.

2008, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2014 were all atrocious years on offense for LSU. Unfortunately, that's 5 out of the last 7 years.

Miles needs to look himself in the mirror for the recruiting mistakes, issues with coaching hires and sundry other issues that brought him to where he is. He's got no one more responsible for it than himself. But he's the head coach and it'll always be that way.

People preaching for patience are honestly lacking in perspective. He's had an incredibly long time to right the offensive ship and people are tired of the thought of a guy making 4 million and an OC being paid over a million a year, respectively, being unable to field a balanced offense that can make plays through the air.

Recruiting misevals, attrition, off-the-field issues, whatever. Eventually you have to be accountable. Circumstances can only be described as extenuating for so long before people begin to view them as excuses.

We've reached that tipping point within the LSU Fanbase. Not taking sides or saying anyone is right or wrong for feeling how they do. I'm just pointing out how and why folks have reached this point.

there's this misconception that the coaches didn't let Mett throw til Bama in 2012. but he was around 25 attempts/ game all year. issue was that the first few games the WRs had drop issues, then around mid year Mett had accuracy issues.

We lost 3 games in 2012.

So you'll be happy with 9-3 this year?

Footwork issues. Cam came in and cleaned them up a ton. I feel bad for Kragthorpe as I feel Mett would've had two years like 2013 had he not suffered with health issues. But that's life unfortunately.

I got a pm saying I am not allowed to crap on the team all week because I didn't get the result I wanted (not sure if that means I wanted us to lose, moronic if so, or I wanted the offense to play better and win the game without having to stress at the end)

apparently this site is becoming like that bama board and you can't discuss the teams positives AND negatives...1-0 we going undefeated baby!

Well, that's pretty much all you've been doing. Perhaps if yo threw in an occasional positive post, it wouldn't be an issue.

Well, we did convert on all of our extra points.

Just kidding. I have no complaints with the defense.

No, the people that are delusional are the ones who believe in easy wins in this conference. Every coach in the sec west is being paid over $4 million because they've fielded teams who can compete and have proven results.

True, Les Miles play calling is about as sexy as grandma's night gown collection, but it works. The Tigers are a "win the line of scrimmage team", get over it!

Instead, all you do is focus on all the negatives, even when we win. That shite gets old, and it' all you do. I'm sure you're not the only one that got a PM like that.

Do you also remember that year when we refused to open up the passing offense until the road loss to Florida? Yeah, if you remember, I am sure you understand why people are upset about this past game because they see that coming next.
