Not to play in this system.

So he wouldn't want to play in a pro style offense?

Conference USA is a dumpster fire now so being picked to win it is not exactly some indication of a great team. This team would probably be an underdog at ULL. We are talking about a team that Tech tore apart. Also you say miles has a past of playing down to teams. The truth is he has never lost to a team like this at LSU. So if your going off past evidence the only conclusion you can come to is that we will win the game.

Even Western Kentucky can solve its QB issues.

That is because they have smarter fans.

Unless they've completely overhauled their defense, they won't have the ball enough to seriously threaten us.

Correct.

Western Kentucky's 2014 rushing defense: 221 yards per game, 5.0 yards per carry

Western Kentucky's points allowed in 2014: 39.9 per game

Buga Nation potentially could dominate the Hilltoppers.

Do they run the triple option? Then, no.

LSU has a long history under Miles of playing unexpectedly tight games with non-BCS opponents

Define "tight games".

Under Saban, we also needed a 4th qtr comeback against Troy and of course there was UAB. I don't recall anything unique about Miles' history against non-BCS teams, other than being undefeated.

Didn't LSU have a tough time with a weak OOC opponent that got blown out by a Sun Belt team last season

Hell no. We outscored our non bcs ooc opponents 150-7. The closest game was 31-0

Maybe while they're here we can pick their brain on how to recruit decent QBs.

I mean...he didn't do shite for them until his 4th year there. If their secret is to let a QB develop for 4 years then we might have an even better QB already. Just have to wait another year or two to find out.

Well trends and streaks are made to be broken, but I kinda doubt it.

LSU has lost one (1) regular season Out of Conference home game this century (UAB 2000) and two total (Va.Tech 2002).

And you would be wrong on just about all of those. We should not be looking past any of these teams

you are not too smart are you? That is exactly why I listed these teams as traps

Its a trap because of the threat of losing, unlike WKU

their QB can fling it. Not to be taken lightly. I've been going over our matchups with multiple teams and Jesus, look at this guys accomplishments

They lost to Louisiana Tech last year 59-10. They lost to Illinois, Middle Tennessee St, UAB, and FAU last year. He broke the school record for passing the year prior with 2850 yards.

So I'll say LSU likely beats em 45-10, but depending on how good the LSU offense is clicking, plus defensive or special teams TDs, it could be 63-10
